Fake Narratives and DOGE Critics: The Elon and Joe Rogan Podcast Episode

As a conservative and a voter, I cannot understand why anyone would be against DOGE and this once in a lifetime opportunity to identify and eliminate waste and fraud. This is the hard earned tax payer dollars we give to the government. The government that is in trillions of dollars in debt and funding every useless overseas program you can think of. This is what we voted for.

What is DOGE? It stands for Department of Government Efficiency. It’s a new but temporary department with a goal of eliminating wasteful spending essentially. At this point, if you are critizing that then you are the villain or profiteer of these wasteful programs.

As an American taxpayer, this is not only what I voted for but think this is way overdue and essential to the people’s revolution. You know, the revolution that happened on November 5, 2024 when the majority of Americans voted for major reform and an end to the corruption. The election where the now DOGE critics are really just the same groups who lost badly in the election and are just mad at everything and everyone because of it. The politicians, democrat voters and left legacy media have not learned their lesson on November 5th. They are still spewing lies and propaganda. Everyone from ABC, the Associated Press to NPR on the radio.

Our federal government was never meant to be this big, this powerful over the people and this wasteful and corrupt. DOGE is simply a consequence to decades of abuse and inefficiencies. As of 2025, there are over 400 federal agencies in the United States. That’s more than the number of years the United States has been in existence. Don’t even get me started on NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) which we are now learning (but have always known) is how the government funnels illegal funds without getting in trouble. Not to mention, the government currently fails its own audits? Why are they the only company to get away with that?

When I asked the conservative women’s group how they felt about DOGE, the majority sentiment was that DOGE was doing a good job and the hard work needed to expose waste and get our country back on track. I’m elated of how transparent DOGE is with their official website Doge.gov and data shared on the official DOGE X account. They are coming at you with receipts. You can’t argue receipts.

Elon Musk was on Joe Rogan’s Podcast recently and I shared quotes from the first 40-minutes of their conversation about fake narratives and DOGE critics with Elon setting the record straight. Don’t you love how politics has become much more transparent?

Elon: $1.9 billion have gone to their NGO with no activity recorded. The NGO is a government funded non-government program. It’s a way to do illegal things through the government. They pay massive sums this way. There are tens of thousands of large NGOs. It’s a hack to the system. They get grants with no requirements at all.

Joe Rogan: I saw there were 55,000 democrat NGOs pushing propaganda and funding campaigns found through AI. 

Elon: DOGE started with 40 people then 100 people doing basic things. As bad as Twitter was, the government is much worse. Twitter was a break even company. The federal government is losing $2 trillion a year and fails its own audits. $12 million were given to the NAVY for more submarines and then got no submarines and no one knows anything about it. It’s mostly waste. Which happens when you spend someone else’s money on people they don’t know and that’s why they don’t care. Only the government could get away with this. The people receiving the money want to keep receiving the money. The reason why I’m is putting so much emphasis on this is because America is going bankrupt and it’s not optional. 

Social Security found 20 million people getting money but aren’t alive. Marked as alive, they can get unemployment or disability because they’re marked as alive in the SS database. The fraud is a bank shot. Get fraudulent payments from government. The systems don’t talk to each other well. 

The Federal Reserve’s payment system or Payment Accounts Master database (PAM), is responsible for $5 trillion payments a year for the federal reserve. You can put a payment through without a category or description like untraceable blank checks. This is normal at the government. DOGE’s recommendation is to make payment categorization codes and explanation mandatory. That is a radical change being implemented in the government now. There has been $100 billion a year being sent this way. In most cases a government official would approve these payments and then change jobs, retire etc. and those payments keep going. 

Joe: what did you expect going into this?

Elon: I thought it would be bad but not this bad. It’s easy to improve. It’s not rocket science and I know rocket science. It’s a lot of mundane things. 

Joe: This is nothing like the first term. There were a lot of Neocons and the wrong cabinet picks. We are now getting an understanding of the government like never before.

Elon: It’s a revolutionary cabinet. This is not business as usual. The senate confirmations were challenging because it’s a group of people who want to change the system.  

Joe: The vampires outed themselves. Media is not talking about all the waste and fraud. 

Elon: if you want to know what’s being cut and recommendations, you can see it line by line at Doge.gov. so you can see everything that is being done. And a tracker of what is being saved. The DOGE critics say it’s a constitutional crisis but won’t point out which payments are wrong. We have the specifics and the receipts. I’ve never said we won’t make mistakes but if we do, we will quickly fix it. We have to act fast to stop spending taxpayer money where we shouldn’t. 

Joe: Under the 2023 Biden admin, 53 people had access to the IRS system like you do.

Elon: Tens of thousands of federal employee have access to it already. People have already hacked government system multiple times and leaked social security numbers onto the internet. Just a few years ago, an IRS employee leaked half a million tax returns on purpose. Critics can create narratives but they can’t point to the line items. It’s a lie. 

Joe: The mainstream media is aligned to these narratives. Fox is the only one pointing out the waste and fraud. 

Elon: Someone who gets all their information from legacy media is living in a different world. Instead of getting their info from podcasts or X. It’s like they are living in an alternate reality. The Associate Press (or the associated propaganda) pushed a story that DOGE fired all Air Traffic Controllers. Which was a lie. We never fired one. In fact, we are trying to hire more and get highly skilled controllers out of retirement back to work. They were pushed into retirement due to DEI programs (basically for being old white men). We shouldn’t put public safety at risk because of that.
